What Is Wellness Care?

Wellness care is designed for patients that are looking to improve their overall quality of life. Patients often experience recurrent aches and pains when they are exposed to stressors that are a part of their day-to-day lifestyle. Stressors include posture, physical or mental stress, sleep-habits, work and physical activity. Wellness chiropractic is designed to identify what those day-to-day stressors are, and help eliminate or offset them. Wellness care is designed to help you understand why you might have pain, and how to stop it and stay ahead of it.

What to Expect from Wellness Care

Your provider at SEEK Health will cater your treatment to your individual goals and needs. In-office treatment will consist of identifying movement restrictions within the joints and soft tissues (muscles, ligaments and tendons) and use of techniques including ART, GRASTON and chiropractic adjustments in order to keep your body moving optimally. At SEEK Health our providers take pride in providing lifestyle advice for patients including ways to decrease daily stressors, incorporate daily movement, stretching, exercise and nutritional advice all geared toward helping you live your life to your fullest function.

  • The frequency of care will and should be different for every patient because no two people are alike or are suffering from the same thing. If we are working on specific goals and want desirable outcomes, the treatment frequency will be more often. If we are trying to maintain mobility, range of motion, and pain relief, the treatment frequency may be periodic (e.g., on a monthly basis).

  • Everyone! Every person experiences small physical stressors in their life. Wellness chiropractic helps prevent those stressors from developing into a larger problem.
